Motivation of the employees, which can be accomplished through material and intangible rewards, has a significant role in modern day business. Regardless of technology development and mechanization of manufacturing, humans are still key factor of every enterprise business success. Through quality of employee work results, one directly influences business success of the company which he/she is a part of. In order to obtain new insights in this very current topic, the aim of this research is to determine in which manner material and intangible rewards influence employees productivity enhancement and therefore improvement of overall business results of company. Research in this paper will be conducted through analysis of theoretical papers related to the issue of employees motivation in successful enterprises and economic associations in Republic of Serbia. The aim of this paper is to establish the state of employees work contentment and their motivation in order to achieve better individual results and total business results of a company which they work for.
